Teknion Announces Service Contract Expansion with Large Defense Contractor

Irving, Texas – Teknion Data Solutions, a leading business technology firm, today announced that it has signed a contract renewal with one of the nation’s largest defense contractors. The new agreement expands the scope of an existing contract to include Enterprise Data Warehouses services that spans multiple facility locations. The client is an internationally renowned defense contractor, specializing in the production of commercial, defense, space, and security aircraft. 
 

Teknion’s BI Implementation

Teknion was chosen to help lead the implementation of the new Integrated Business Intelligence system being initiated by this major U.S. military aircraft and defense systems manufacturer. This program, which is being built on the enterprise data warehouse solution developed by Teknion for one location as a showcase solution, is being rolled out to all eleven facilities in the U.S. Each facility location is unique, with a variety of operational and administrative systems integrated over time. The opportunity is to process all of the disparate data sources into a common data structure that can be used to provide meaningful and accurate performance reports to the management of each facility. Teknion has the role of architecting this solution and providing IT services to ensure a successful and sustainable system is created.
