E-Chex PC is a powerful program developed jointly with E-Chex (National E Commerce) to process checks electronically through the Federal banking system. Checks can be entered either by a Point of Sale terminal or through a computer. Check batches are uploaded from the client location to E-Chex daily. The formatted check data is then submitted for overnight settlement. The check writer is debited and the client is credited. Any items not clearing are sent back to E-Chex as returns.
